Little town boy goes to city and Ragnarok Online.

As mentioned in the other post, Drago was a smart boy as he graduated from elementary school with the top #6 in Math. That would go upside down as he entered Junior and Senior High School.

As a Tiger mom does, she will always pick the best school for their kid. From the best school in the town, the mother decided that he would go to Jakarta. She considered sending him to Singapore, but that would be too hard. It just happened that Jakarta saw International schools established here and there. She took him to one that’s in the neighborhood of our bigger family. Drago was accepted in Jubilee High School and was assigned to the ‘A’ class, a class of the top 25.

This assignment was bad for him. All the students were in rivalries and as a little town boy, he was bullied heavily. This made his grades go down really hard. He grew disinterested in school. Meanwhile, he learned the world of MMORPG (Massively Online Role Playing Game). His first MMO was Nexia, a classic Korean-made game. The game allowed him to play while interacting with people outside of his real life sphere. The game allowed Drago to learn human as human, removing all bias in terms of race and religions. The game allowed him to not to judge people by their cover, and allowed him not to be judged by his appearance or sophistication.

He spent more time in the game than in the mundane world, where he would be bullied and disrespected heavily. In the game, he could discuss heavy subjects with other people who were much older than himself. He met and played with a criminal who had just finished his imprisonment term. He met and played with someone in their 50s. He won a short story making award from the game. And at one point, the Game Master was thinking to hire him as the game moderator, but stop short of doing that learning that he was under 17 years old.

A new MMORPG called Ragnarok Online came about, and suddenly everyone moved to that game. The game has better graphics, art directions, and a great lore story. However, what makes this game really good was the Guild and Emperium War feature.

The game allowed players to group up into organizations where players could hang out together and help each other. Twice every week, the guilds in the game would participate in Emperium War, where they compete to conquer 20 available castles on the server.

Drago was a bad PvP (player vs player) fighter. He was a priest with a failed build as he was trying to make a ‘Magnus Exorcismus’ build. This is similar to Megumin in Konosuba who spent all her points to ‘Explosion’. A priest typically supposed to be a master of healer in the game and hence would assist other allies and would be too hard to be killed.

However, hilariously, his ‘Magnus Exorcismus’ and the relatively fast cast stack of ‘Sanctuary’ would make him suitable to huddle the Emperium in the castle’s core. This prevents any tough enemy player that breaks through defending lines from stealing the Emperium. These tough players are usually the leader of enemy guild who in real life are pretty wealthy and able to purchase premium items that would render their armor to the element of ghost, making them invisible, but, fatal to Magnus Exorcismus.

But those instances are rare, so Drago is mostly busy handling the war coordination among the guild leaders. He became one of the guild leaders that led about 600 guild members.
